We're gearing up for the party of the year - our Annual Awards Dinner, which will be held on Thursday, September 8, from 7 - 11 p.m. at the Staten Island Zoo, 614 Broadway, Staten Island, NY 10310.

Please join us as we honor:

  • Democrat of the Year – Rosemary Palladino
  • Business Leader of the Year – John Mancuso (of Silvestro’s Deli & Caterers)
  • Community Leader of the Year – Larry Anderson (of Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden)
  • Labor Leader of the Year – Steve Lawton (of CWA Local 1102)

Tickets are $35 for Young Democrats and $75 for Young At Heart Democrats.

You can also join our Host Committee! Here are the options:

  • $1000 - Benefactor (includes 8 tickets)
  • $750 - Sponsor (includes 6 tickets)
  • $500 - Patron (includes 4 tickets)
  • $250 - Supporter (includes 2 tickets)
  • $100 - Host (includes 1 ticket)
  • $75 – Friend

Finally, our next meeting will be held on October 6 in the back room at Jody's Club Forest, 372 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10301. We will have our annual elections, so check out our bylaws and consider running for a position!

Remember, if you have any suggestions on what you would like to see the club work on, share it with us. This is YOUR club, and we look forward to making this a great time to be a Young Democrat in Staten Island.
